Meeting the Challenges of a Changing World

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 2nd Annual International Hybrid Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Criminology. This year’s conference will focus on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Criminology During Dynamic Reality: Meeting the Challenges of a Changing World, aiming to bring criminologists, researchers, law enforcement professionals, rehabilitation experts, and policymakers to explore adaptive, forward-thinking approaches to crime prevention, control and justice in times of uncertainty. The Conference offers a unique platform for scholars and practitioners to share insights, research findings, and practical experiences on how criminology can remain resilient and adaptable in the face of ongoing global transformations. We invite submissions that contribute to the understanding of various aspects of entrepreneurship in criminology coping mechanisms, including but not limited to:
1. Youth and Crime: Risk, Resilience, and Prevention Through Innovation
Creative approaches to understanding juvenile delinquency, focusing on risk and protective factors, early intervention, and resilience-building among youth.
2. Marginalized Communities, Personal Safety and Community Resilience
Innovative practices that address crime, victimization, and systemic inequality among minority and vulnerable populations, Innovative approaches to enhancing individual safety and strengthening community resilience, prevention strategies, and the capacity to recover from crime and social harm.
3. Cybercrime, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence in Criminology
Exploring the implications of digital transformation in crime and justice, including cybercrime trends, AI-driven prevention tools, data protection, and ethical considerations in technology use.
4. Innovative Strategies for Crime Prevention and Rehabilitation
Forward-thinking approaches to reducing crime and supporting offender rehabilitation—through programs, policies, or community initiatives that challenge traditional models.
5. Innovation and Reform in Policing and Criminal Justice Systems
Entrepreneurial and reform-driven approaches to improving policing, law enforcement, and correctional systems. Institutional Innovation; community relations; resource constraints and the development of new models of justice and accountability.
6. Rethinking Criminological Theory in a Changing World
Explorations of how contemporary challenges and interdisciplinary perspectives are reshaping the foundations of criminological thinking.
Submission Guidelines
We invite the submission of original research papers, case studies, and practical insights that address the conference themes. Authors interested in presenting their work at the conference should submit their abstracts by May 20th, 2025, using the Conference link:

Abstracts (up to 300 words) should include a brief description of the following topics:
* Innovation Aspect - Evaluation of creative and novel ideas that advance current criminology practices.
* Entrepreneurial Dimension - Assessment of entrepreneurial thinking and innovative problem-solving approaches in criminology.
* Practical Application - Analysis of implementation feasibility and demonstrated success in real criminology settings.
* Scientific Contribution - Examination of how the work advances theoretical knowledge and builds on existing research.
